Memory Support
Alzheimer's and dementia care at The Villa
Residents who live with memory challenges and need greater attention benefit from the same warm and versatile lifestyle as all of our residents, but within a safe and protected environment. Each resident enjoys a private bedroom in an eleven-bedroom wing where the decor resembles an upscale retreat.
Bathing areas are very much like a spa, with open showers and easy access, and each residence has been carefully decorated.
Knowing that senior adults with impaired memories can still experience real connections, the Memory Support area was designed with life-skills rooms where residents can engage in meaningful activities that connect with their past, whether that is a gardening area, a sewing room or a golf shop.
A separate walled garden with planting beds lets residents enjoy nature and the outdoors while remaining safe. Families can rest comfortably knowing their loved ones are safe, respected and cherished.
